Say this cue naturally, the way you will say it in the talk.
Say the cue naturally. The app will learn it automatically when it hears a reliable match.
Welcome
Throughout history, great speakers have rarely relied on scripts. Instead, they used structure, stories, and carefully chosen cues to guide them through their message.
Cicero brings that idea into the modern age.
Rather than displaying every word, Cicero uses cue words and phrases to help you navigate your speech naturally and confidently. The result is a presentation that feels authentic, engaging, and fully your own.
This is not a teleprompter.
You are not on stage to read a speech.
You are there to deliver it.
Check HELP for further instructions.
Cicero works in your browser and as a mobile app. For the easiest setup, create and edit your talks on a computer, then switch to your phone or tablet when you are ready to rehearse or deliver. This is only a suggestion; the same core tools are available on mobile devices too.

The cue keywords box contains phrases or words that will be shown to guide you in Live mode. They are anchors to the next part of your speech and will be detected automatically by the microphone and an AI detection process.
Paste one word or short phrase per line. These are the words the app listens for in Live mode.
Adding a script is optional. The app still works without it, but a script gives detection more context. Cicero understands your talk and will recover your position in the script if you miss a cue, or say it slightly differently. You can also improvise and go off script, Cicero will wait for you to return to the script.
From your script simply tap to select or deselect keywords. Cicero will tell you if the selected words will make a strong cue, or not.
Give Cicero an idea of how long your talk will be. When in Live mode Cicero will show you a progress bar for time and will also change cue word colour. If you are on track cue words are shown in green. If you are ahead of schedule, according to your script and set time, Cicero will make cues redder to indicate you should slow down. Words become a frosty blue to tell you to speed up.
Cicero can scan your text and choose some keywords for you. This may be a good starting point but you will always be more successful choosing your own words directly in the script, only you will know what are the words that trigger your memory best.
Upload a presentation as a PDF and Cicero will allow you to drag slides onto cues. Cicero will show the right slide in Live mode along with the cue and notes. Remember this is meant to be the next slide, not your current slide.
Open the menu in the top right to fine tune language, display and how sensitive Cicero should be.
Practice mode listens to how you naturally pronounce each cue and can save those matches to improve recognition. This is not necessary but will help performance in Live mode.
Enter Live mode by rotating your mobile device to landscape, or by pressing the red Live button on a tablet or computer. Cicero is now ready to guide you and waiting for your first cue. Press Close, or rotate your mobile device back to portrait, to return to Edit mode.
